Riesling – Californian – 2012

Rieslings! aren’t they supposed to be German? I was in the mood for a Riesling and I found this Californian one.

Of a beautiful pale colour, and shy aromas.

I had the impression that Rieslings were less sweet than Moscatos and that they felt more serious. As it turns out, they can be as sweet and playful.  You know, I am Moscato fan , but I had previously tried Riesling – Bree and I was expecting something like this.

I am not saying it is bad, but it is too sweet for what I was expecting.
