Origami Chameleon

Although it is one of the hardest to fold, it is also one of the most rewarding ones. I love to place them partially hidden with the origami flowers I make.

Smoothly Designed (51/100)

Tuesday, March 27th, 2018

Welcome to 100 days of petal verses!

From February 5th to May 15th – Day 51

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as the poems!

Don’t forget to like and subscribe!

To celebrate half way of the petal verses collection,

I have prepared something with great affection,

A type of flowers made through folds and cunning,

and just as special as natural flowers are stunning,

Thus I present, from day forty-nine to fifty-one,

these origami flowers that my hands have done,

so I hope you enjoy the beautiful creation

that was made with enthusiasm and dedication.

Smoothly Designed

By Adriana

Late at night, when quietness is in the middle of its show

my stealthy hands slowly wander in the paper chateau,

a place of foreign colours and carefully chosen designs

where the perfect size and shape will be eagerly combine.

The paper calls and the folds smoothly slide through

as if their destined intriguing shape, they always knew,

My hands know their task and they continuously crease galore,

as if they never get tired, doing origami is what they adore.

The night goes on, but in a blink these flowers were made

and I smile at them, knowing their beauty will never fade.

And now that I look at them, I have a lovely thought in mind

the day I wear white, I’d like to have my own bouquet designed.

Anticipatory Presented

by Grexxen

Walking down between the crowd

Soft hands hold the bouquet proud

As your dress the flowers are white

Both shine in the church so bright

Your skin is golden as the bloom

Step by step you approach the groom

The flowers match the violet hair slide

On the altar I wait for my bride.

Hand in hand we speak “yes” so true

Suddenly I awake next to you

There is no reason for any dismay,

Beside our bed is the flower bouquet.

Dear Grexxen,

I am inspired by your words. So full of talent. Thank you for letting me share them here.

Thank you for reading!

Dedicatedly Achieved

By Adriana

Open your eyes and don’t be deceived

this what you see is to be believed,

it took hours of folding to be conceived

but roses out of paper were finally achieved.

Red roses are the most traditional,

but oranges are the most unconditional,

while the pink one is the most transitional,

the purple one is merely additional.

Now they rest on mom’s living room,

standing guard for anybody’s gloom,

there they’ll stay for a long time, I assume,

as they will never die but also, they won’t further bloom.

And with these origami roses we reach half way,

but luckily I still have many flowers on the tray,

and tomorrow you will read about a beautiful bouquet

that I am sure you’ll enjoy right away.

Ordinary Colourful

by Grexxen

Roses are red, violets are blue,

You know like me that this is not true

The majestic queen of all floral

Consists of colourful voices in choral.

Some are red and some are white,

Even dark black or pink so bright.

It doesn’t matter the Rose’s colour touch,

It fills your heart with love so much!

Dear Grexxen,

Thank you, so much for your support and dedication. You are talented poet that I admire deeply.

Finely Crafted (49/100)

Welcome to 100 days of petal verses!

From February 5th to May 15th – Day 49

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as the poems!

Finely Crafted

By Adriana

For hours crafting and folding,

origami is something for beholding

an art of patience and finesse,

and not to hold any stress.

What you see are some flowers

have taken me many hours,

but origami is a passion for me,

and are beautiful, wouldn’t you agree?

As first step, the paper is selected,

good quality can’t be neglected,

Now, choosing the colours comes next,

combining them can be a little complex.

And then the folding begins,

I can’t stop until I’ve got everything.

But the job is not complete,

I am in for a little treat.

The stem and centres are put into place,

gotta make sure, they are also full of grace,

Now my fingers are full of glue,

but I won’t go to sleep until this is through.

Then I carefully place them in the vase,

and when they are finally steady,

I wonder if “vase” rhymes with “grace” or “was”?

but it is ok, because this poem is finished already.

Artfully Deceiving

by Grexxen

Driven by the same old rush of daily life routine

My eyes caught a sudden sparkle, such I’ve never seen.

Slowly I was coming closer to the kitchen table

To marvel more about those flowers, I surely wasn’t able.

Bright in colours from spring yellow to autumn red

Of exotic shape and beauty, held by an unseen thread.

For my eyes were full of wonder, I truly believed

So revelation hit me harder, that I have been deceived.

Those flowers need no water, nor any bug repellent

In hours they had been carefully folded by a patient talent.

Of Origami paper had been the heart of petals and stem

They are the Art in Artificial; and Art is the Artist creating them.

Dear Grexxen,

Thank you for enthusiasm and dedication to this poem.
