As a Latin-American living in Taiwan, I am often in contact with South-American and French wines, also with Australian and South Africans but very little with Californian wines.
We previously had a Rose, which was very good, but it was time to have a red Californian wine, and what could be better than a Pinot Noir for this. Because of origin, I did not know what to expect, but because of the type of grape, it had to be good.
Pinot Noir is one of my favorite types of wine, so I am becoming rigorous with this wine’s taste. Line 39 is a fine wine with well balanced flavors. Soft, but with attitude. Sweet deep aromas of raspberry. Good finish, but not very lasting, it just leaved you with the sensation of wanting more.
Sourness 3.0/ 5
[Note: Fruitiness, sourness and tannin, are a red wine characteristics, they do not define the quality of a wine]
